Only the top 20 Male and 20 Female Lifters who have made the standard (South African Championships – Senior) will be selected.

Athlete must be on Adams and whereabouts updated.

Relevant Courses must also be completed.

Athletes must be able to afford the trip without support from the Federation at this stage until we receive feedback from the Department of Sport Arts and Culture.

The top 10 Male and 10 Female Lifters and 2 reserves who have made the standard (Commonwealth & African Championships – Senior) will be selected.

Only those on the Preliminary List can be selected and maximum 2 per category

Final Team selection includes flights and accommodation Bookings

Coaches of the athlete will be eligible to take their athlete to the competition, but at their own cost or the cost of the Athlete (Safeguarding policies will be enforced).
