Who can attend the course?
The role of Technical official is one of the most important roles in our sport; without technical officials it makes it impossible to host a weightlifting competition. We are calling on any volunteers to attend the course who would like to contribute to the growth and sustainability of weightlifting.
We offer a simple Club Technical Official certification for those who would like to contribute; not all technical officials need to qualify at the highest level to contribute.
The Technical officials’ course is recommended for all coaches who will be travelling internationally; it is imperative that coaches know the rules of weightlifting.
We recommend that athletes who compete overseas also attend this course; it’s important that athletes understand the rules of weightlifting.
