The Egyptian Weightlifting Federation has the pleasure to invite your National Team to participate in the 2022 African Senior (32nd Men & 21st Women) Weightlifting Championships scheduled to be held on 26 October 2022 to 4 November 2022 in Cairo, Egypt.

In order to prevent delays, we kindly ask those who wish to attend and meet the following criteria to complete our online form by the 24th August:

1. You must have achieved the following minimum standards

• 71% of the world record in the relavent Men’s weight category
• 70% of the world record in the relavent Women’s weight category
• between the 1st January 2021 and 18th August 2022 in a recognized Club, Provincial, National or International Competition

2. You must currently be a registered member of the SAWF

3. Your whereabouts must be up to date

PLEASE NOTE: This competition is SELF-FUNDED

Unfortunately, due to the timing, the South African Weightlifting Federation will only be able to assist with arrangements at this stage.
